Richard M. Schwartz
Richard M. Schwartz was formerly a trial attorney in the office of Chief Counsel - Internal Revenue Service. He has litigated a multitude of tax cases involving individual, estate, gift, partnership, and corporate tax issues. Richard advises clients on tax, estate, financial, health care, and retirement planning opportunities.
His practice also involves counseling clients planning for the succession of their closely held businesses, including Mergers and Acquisitions, sales, and reorganizations. He has extensive experience in raising venture capital and financing business and Real Estate acquisitions. Richard conducts numerous financial and Estate Planning seminars for business owners, corporation employees, or corporation retirees.
Richard was the host of the popular legal talk show – Law Talk – on WVXU for over 12 years. He has taught estate planning and tax courses for the College of Life Underwriters for over 20 years. He has developed and is currently teaching the estate planning course at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Cincinnati. He has been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer® by Law and Politics magazine on numerous occasions.
